Hired in April 2016, Anna Barsby is Morrisons new Chief Technology Director. Barsby previously worked at Halfords where she was responsible for steering a digital transformation that included the company’s move to the cloud.
At Morrisons she has been focusing on hiring a variety of talented staff for her ambitious plans. Barsby has noted that Morrisons ‘won’t achieve what they want to achieve without some new talent to complement the knowledge of Morrisons that we’ve got and the two together will really help us succeed.’
Barsby also has a focus on developing diversity in the workplace and bringing more women into the technology market.
