Online activity allows retailers to track consumer’s browsing behaviour and what they are ordering. This data is then being used to influence their inventory in their physical stores to reflect online trends.
The Oracle cloud is allowing retailers to take large pools of data, reflecting customers online activity, and scale it down where necessary.
Mike Webster, senior VP and GM at Oracle noted that there will be a new version of the Oracle Retail cloud-enabled platform available in the next few months.
