Oracle have recently conducted a report, ‘The Era I Enterprise: Ready for Anything” which involved a consultation with 300 C-level executives across 10 industries to attempt to identify how prepared organisations are for the fact that consumers increasing want their experiences to be personalised.
It has been suggested that retailer could earn an extra 10% in revenue by offering customers and employees a highly individualised experience.
The report found that 77% of retailers have experienced a trend towards customers wanting a more individual experience and even found that 67% of employees share this desire.
Mike Webster, senior VP and general manager, Oracle Retail and Hospitality, noted that retailers need to ensure they have the correct systems in place to be able to provide these services.
