A recent Oracle research report has concluded that businesses and IT departments need to collaborate in a more efficient manner if they are to succeed.
The report noted that 62% of respondents said that lines of business and IT teams must collaborate better if they are to success in implementing cloud computing. 41% also noted that there is a lack of understanding by business departments of the need for integrated cloud resources, a significant IT infrastructure challenge.
Oracle also found that there were problems with the technology itself with regards to poor application integration and the time of deployment.
